1944-style flash mob

18 July 2014

For the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Paris, the Flash mob WCS association organised a flash mob with the Carnavalet Museum on Saturday 14th June, right next to the museum.

Flash mob place des Vosges

The flash mob started at 2:00pm.
Old cars and buses arrived at the Place des Vosges. Participants could choose between different dance styles: Lindy Hop, Rock’n’Roll and West Coast Swing.
Many were in costume.
A siren signalled the beginning of the freeze mob, and the dances then recommenced.
Some were even able to leave in 1940s buses.

There were plenty of people: over 1,400!
What a success! Thank you everyone!
